Twirling Twirling Twirling
Emma danced before she was even born.
Once she could walk, there was no stopping her need to and love of dance. She danced at home, at school, at the park, wherever and anywhere she could. Her favorite outfits involved a tutu and ballet slippers. At 18 months, we found a wonderful ballet studio where she could dance with others and have fun and learn ballet at the same time.
She loved the costumes, being on stage, twirling and twirling. She always wanted to be Clara in the Nutcracker and didn't understand why she had to be older to be Clara. One time while we were watching a local Nutcracker production, she tried to get on stage (a few times) during the show because it was "her turn". She didn't care that she didn't have the costume or knew the choreography. She was convinced she'd figure it out.
